whats a b16a's top speed?

i swapped a b16a into my 93 civic dx that doesnt come with a tach, i bought one..but then that was stolen, so now i just want to get a cluster that has a redline at the right spot (8200) and has a top speed higher or equal to what my car can push, what cluster would i be looking for?

a tachometer with 8200 rpm.

a jdm cluster will have the right redline and fit properly if you don't mind reading kph.

otherwise, a gs-r cluster can be swapped without *too* much trouble. Do a search, I think Outxider and maybe some other members have done this. The actual redline will be a touch lower, but there will be more than enough room on the tach to rev out the b16a as far as it will go. I think the speedo goes to 140 or 160 or something  either way, its far faster than your civic will ever go. :)

He dosnt need a speedometer faster then 120.

If you are using a JDM ECU, you only need the speedo to go up to 112mph. Japanese cars are limited to 180kph, which is 112mph.

Drop it from a plane, I'm guessing at least 500 mph.

Um...... no.

purchase a jdm eg6 cluster. best looking. reads in kph, but you'll figure it out easily after a few days.

if not get a 92-95 civic si/ex cluster. that is all. plug and play nothing to do, other than swap them in. no special anything.

I think with the wind resistance, it'll reach a terminal velocity slower than 500... hmm

When did they stop using the 112 limit then? That's the way most JDM-land cars I know of are set up.

It's 127mph
