Keyless entry doesn't work.......
 

Ok so a few weeks ago my keyless entry stopped working in my 97 Civic EX. First thing was I checked the batteries in the remote but the light still flashes so I doubt its that. Anyone have any ideas of what it is? Thanks

it could still be the batteries...my remote light still flashed for my aftermarket alarm...but the thing was basically dead....one time...i ran out of juice and the alarm was on...so yeah....i had to walk 2 miles to walmart to get another battery...only to find that i forgot my wallet in my car....so yeah i waited for my mom

check your fuses. The cruse control and the keyless entry system run on the same fuse. The radio, while it contains the keyless system, works off a different fuse. :)

mines goes off sometimes, I just reprogramm it..... donno why, battery seems fine,

Don't think it would be that because both my cruise control and radio seem to work fine. I still will check that however just to make sure.


When I said the red light flashes, I was talking about the red light on the remote when you push a button. Not the red light on the dash that blinks......just making sure that was clear :D Thanks you guys!
