quick question

how much did you guys pay to have your timing belt done? I'm going to use my tax refund to help pay for it, and i wasn't sure how much extra it was going to cost.

Its not that hard, you should be able to do it yourself

Jessica 04-11-2004 12:20 PM

It really can be that cheap.. It all depends on what the shop charges per hour for labor. If you have a shop do it I would go to the honda dealership, get an oem belt, and then take it to the shop and have them install it. I bet that would save you some money cause the shops double the price on about everything they install... and you would have oem quality.

I bet it'll cost 150-300ish depending where you go.

dealership probably costs the most

Don't you have any friends that would be willing to do it for you? Maybe for a case of beer and some lovin'?

I have seen prices range from $280 and up.
