what stock rims fit on del Sol VTEC?
hey everyone...i have a del Sol VTEC that i don't drive around anymore thanks to my brother hydrolocking it. so basically it's dead and has just been my rim storage. i tried putting my HB dx 13's rims on and found out that the rotor/calipers were too big for del Sol's brakes (in the front at least and i'm sure the back as well) since they're similar to the 99-00 civic si's larger brakes.
since i have to junk it soon, i'm keeping the rims from the sol and need replacement rims...would stock dx 15" rims fit the del Sol? and does anyone in the Los Angeles, CA area have any to spare? thanks

They fit. I sold 4 to my neighbor about 5 months ago. I am not to sure if he ever put them on, he sold the car after I sold the wheels to him...? I think he wanted them cuz he had nice rims. Prob gonna keep them and put the 15's on it to sell....
Any 14" or larger 4x100 wheels will fit with the possible exception of the HX wheels, which sometimes require a little caliper modification due to insufficient clearance (depends on what type of brakes you have).

yes calipers are too large, the hx wheels will fit with about 2 mm of grinding on the caliper. that little lip that sits near the pad on the outward side of the caliper causes clearence issues.
but wiht stock del sol s/si front rotors, the hx wheels will fit fine.
sum it up.
yes del sol vtec (as any other integra or civic si(ek) or civic si/ex coupe (eg)) requires a 14" or larger wheel due to caliper clearence issues
