tips for power window installation

i have a dx. it does not come with power windows so therefore i am using integra window actuators in place of my civic actuators because they are electric. i have the drivers side installed and i think i have the wiring pretty much figured out. does anyone know which colors are what polarities. Does anyone know if there is a constant running directly to the switches or does the constant stop at the ignition. Does anyone know where i can get european switches(they are in the middle right??). This is where i am going to put mine wether it be with my drivers side door switch panel or with european switches, i want the switches in the middle, easier for everyone to reach, less wiring, different. Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Also do i absolutely need a relay. What exactly is a relay's purpose. if these could get answered, i would really appreciate it.
thanks in advanced,
Steven

wow man... lots-o-questions.

Sadly, I can't answer a-one, I've never had a car with power windows. :(

lol yea i am making the move back to the integra but with a civic body. the european civics switches are in the middle, where the tabs are, i want this really bad, its more logical and user friendly in my opinion.
