Default finally got my p30 intake mani

and I just won a 60mm tb to go with it instead of my baby gen one b16a tb... prob. gonna oreder the hondata mani gasket for shits and giggles....

eh it was more that I am sick of all the vaccum lines...so I got the new mani and throttle body so it will clean up the bay a lil....I am contemplating sending them out to be bored and matched while it is still winter...

Yeah I understand that. It would not be a bad idea to send them out before you put them on.

It would all depend on the shop but I would say $150-$500 :dunno: Its a good bit of work to port the mani right so thats why I say that. Just to give an example, I sent a streetbike head to a place called Star Racing (they build the NHRA Pro Stock bike motors) and it cost me $1854.00 just for the port work. :happysad:

If you have a hook-up at dart send them the head also for some port work and then they can match port everything. :rick:

even with my hook it is still more money than I have at the moment....it is being seriously considered this spring...:rick:

edit: plus I gotta get a beater for the down time........

Well if you are seriously doing the head this spring I would just wait and send them everthing for a full port and polish. That way they can do it all at once and match port everything.
