My car makes squeaaakkkyyy noises (sorry, im sleepy)... If I park on a hill, and put it in park.. when i let up off the brake (ya know how it rolls forward a bit) it goes.. squeeeaakkky in the back. and if I hit a bump or something.. it goes squueaakkk. I tested it, and I opened the trunk and jumped up and down on the lip.. and it goes squeaakky ssqueeaakky squeeakkkkky. Ive never heard any other car do this... I'm pretty sure its from the suspension. I heard once, "Never trust a squeakky suspension" sooo.. im not trusting it.. cause it goes squeaaakky squeaaakkky squeeaakkky all the farkin time it seems like now.. So what exactly is wrong with it? Anyone elses suspension go squeeakkkky squeaky squeeeek?

 

remove shocks, lube all moving parts, replace bushings, and you should be good. Otherwise, you may just need new shocks. You can find DIY instructions w/ pics for shock removal on these forums, just search.

my front squeaks occasionally but thats cause I am a moron and put the washers on the wrong side of the top shock bushings and cap :doh:

 

When you park on a hill, use the emergency brake. It's hard on the tranny to put all the car's weight on the park pin.
