Default Turbo'd, but now have a huge problem

Here is the deal, I just installed my apexi kit on my d16y5. I put it in, and it ran great for about a day. Then all of a sudden it idels like crap and I figured it was a vacume leak. I am at -15 vac. What should I be at? Also, sometimes it will idel, but when I rev it and let off the gas and it will almost die. I need help. Thanks. Also, might it add, when its not ideling, it runs great. Any idea on what to do. For my afc setting(running the afc hack) I have -40 across the board untill about 4000 rpms then it trickles up t0 -35.

It's the AFC hack. Mine does the same thing. It's the price you pay for cheap fuel management.

I've never heard of a D16Y5

My vacuum is at -20 at idle - FYI.

I didn't know that the AFC hack did that to your idle
Maybe I should re-evaluate fuel management on my future turbo set up.

I don't know my 6th gen Dseries motors all that well. h:

Ya, the VAFC isn't the greatest tool cause it doesn't integrate all that well. Now..the Hondata. :goodjob:

Who are you talking to and why do you think you know what you're talking about? I've been there, done that. I've got the T-shirt and coffee mug.:fawk:

For some reason that engine wasn't listed on the Honda engine codes page I was looking at. And, since westcoast said it, it seemed like the cool thing to do

But I guess you are right. D16Y5 is in a 96-00 Hx

Your vacuum at idle should be -19hg.

We sell a lot of turbo kits, and always recommend that people tie strap all vacuum connections at least, so they don't come loose.
