B16A2 Upgrades? What's the best?
 

Wow, I just swapped in my B16A2. JDM motor. Does anyone know the specs for sure??? hp, torque, redline?? Just wanna make sure cuz it's in my 1995 EX coupe.. Stock guages and the whole shebang

Now to my question! What's the best upgrade for the money? I don't want turbo, and I don't want nitrous.. Nothing dangerous, but something stout and safe, but gets me rough tough horsepower...

I didn't think that the JDM motors had the ending digit (2 in this case). :confused:

A Skunk2 intake manifold would do you very well. Also, a nice set of cams would push some more power through.

What mods do you currently have on there?

My bad. You get a lot of bad info round here. Everyone thinks they know their stuff, but don't seem to really. B16A second Gen... OBD1. Bought it from JDM autosales said it's JDM I may be getting fed a lot of crap. Anyhoo.

I have full exhaust, lost the header during the swap so going to replace the manifold that's on it. short intake is all otherwise. Lost all my mods after the swap like I said.. Let me know..

Ya, I'd say that those are really your bang-for-the-buck mods.

A good clutch would also do you well. ;)

MSD , ECU chip , And ummm Supercharge ? Don't know if you wanna do that last one cause you don't want N/A or Boost . Nut goodluck with everything make sure you post pictures of your new and old setup ! :thumbup:

Also, like everyone else said, most N/A parts won't get you really fast, but I'm not sure what your goal is anyway.
