Default Honda Civic Si Newbie

Okay, I know that I am gonna sound like some wienie who shoulda stuck with this Krautcars, but.......

I have recently moved from front engine Porsches to Hondas....I have a 2000 Civic Si now, and have no idea where to start with the upgrades....Most obviously, intake and exhaust.....

Basically what we have here a case of too much information can be dangerous.....multiple gigabytes of info on the net about Civics, but I do not have a lifetime to read it all. I am looking for what we all search for, the most bang for the buck!!!! So, any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS!

Intake/Header/Exhaust/Cams/turbo/NOS

It really depends on how far you want to take it and how reliable you want it to be.

Searching for each one individually and narrowing it down is your best bet to deciding which mods you should do first for your application. Take it one step at a time, if you take to much at once, you will be overwhelmed like you are now.

Nate.

turbo-custom kit or
go all motor-cams, p'n'p stuff, headers, drop in air filter, good exhaust. also look into suspension- power isnt any good if it cant be applied to the ground, i would recommend tein or h&r. then go from there.

Dont do bolt-ons if you're going to boost. Waste of money. Get you a decent cat-back exhaust and leave it at that..... atleast if you're going turbo later on.
