Default Any titanium exhaust components you know of?

I'm searching for a reputable company which makes titanium exhaust components for next year's racing season. I know Tanabe just came out with one, do you know of any others?

Please let me know.
Thanks!
Mike

If you like DIY exhaust projects and MIG/TIG welding... go here www.burnsstainless.com. They have Aluminum, Titanium and even Inconel stock.

Full titanium exhaust? What components?

The only company i can think of is Amuse. I doubt they make it for a coupe and it is expensive as hell.

Most of the companies only make titanium axlebacks.

Hytech can do it, but it'll cost an arm, a leg, a lung, kidney, and spleen.

Well as you know I'm a serious racer and just looking for that extra ounce of performance. Plus titanium will not rust and weighs less than stainless steel.

most of them that make it is only the titanium axle back as someone said...or just the Ti Muffler and tip. a full Ti catback would not be afforadable and easily to get.

reputable companies that offer Ti component exhausts that i know of so far are:

HKS (Ti series)
JIC MAGIC (505SUS series)
5Zigen (Pro Racer series)
Tanabe (ultra medallion)

I've heard that the buddy club [spec III] exhausts are pretty light. Though they are still stainless steel, they're one of the lightests exhausts out there.

SS, whether it's 304 or 321, is heavy as fawk.

Burnsstainless.com sells stock so you could make your own Ti downpipe after you find your axle-back. It's not that bad. It's like $33 a foot. You'll need about 8-9 feet if you're following where the factory mid pipe runs, and that would cost less than my Apexi 3" downpipe did new. You just need to find someone with the equipment to weld it.

The worst part about titanium is finding someone that sells big enough stock to be used for an exhaust. 2" is the largest I can find anywhere. You may also want to consider Inconel. It's got great heat resistance properties, and it's also very lightweight. Doesn't really cost any more than Titanium. But it's also very hard to find in diameters larger than 2"
