Default See ya later guys, turbo sohc is dead

Well...it's been a good run but after 3 years i regret to say my white turbo coupe is dead. I blew out a tire the week before thanksgiving and hit a median head on going 50-60 mph crossing 5 lanes of traffic and missing a lightpole in the median by about 3 feet.

The front end is crushed, multiple holes/cracks in the motor and tranny and some frame damage. The adjustor came out and stopped adjusting the damage around 10 grand. It's totalled and i'm gonna get about 10,300 for my car. Don't know what's next but i'll probably just paint/turbo my SER.

I'll have a thread in the FS section for all the parts i stripped off of it. I think it includes, leather seats, gauges, sohc turbo T3 mani, Apex N1 2.5" axleback coupe exhaust, Pioneer 6X9's, P2P 99-00 5spd ex ECU.

Just wanted to thank all of you guys for the tech help, hope i inspired some of you d16-t guys out there, keep up the good work! I'll probably check back here every once in a while and see if i can still answer some questions and what not but you guys be careful.

that pipe in the trunk was the charge pipe coming off my outlet

Thanks...i was really sad to see her go, i would've rather fixed it and gotten a LS swap but oh well. I got lucky and got a pretty good deal out of the settlement so who knows i may be back in another honda soon. The SR20DE(T) should be really fun though, i'm shooting for mid 300 whp and wtq on 14 psi with my SC50 turbo from the civic.
