the code came up 6 flashes (temp control sensor) changed the one on the block now it still dose the same thing but when i test for codes all i get is the check engine light staying on no flashes
now i found other sensor on the thermostat hosing is that the one that controls the computer and the i should have change.

are you saying that when you're idling, the RPM's jump up and slow back down? Check the idle air control.

if the idling is NOT erratic, i.e. in time andat the same pace, then its the fast idle thermo valve, a small coolant valve under the throttlebody. they are made of wax and break easily.
