A question on '98 or '00 Civic EX auto trans.
I am looking at a few used Civic EX coupes for a commuter car, maybe tune up some for fun. The tune up part depends on how strong the auto trans is.
Are there any mechanical differences between the '98 and '00?? Or is is just a few very minor body parts? For the tune up, I was thinking like a valve body to add a lil strength to the auto and getting a Jackson Racing supercharger for it, along with headers and an exhaust, some suspension, wheels, and brakes, etc. Any comments or help on the trans would be appreciated, thanks. |
igo4bmx will be your new friend. he's got a turbo on his automatic 99-00 coupe (can't remember which year).
but nearly all 96-00 are the same within respected trim levels.... |
Anyone else have any experience tuning up an auto Civic and how strong the transmission is???
