Put in teg fuel filter sideways

I felt like replacing my civic fuel filter with an integra one for basically no reason. It ends up that both lines are on the top on a civic filter where as one is one the bottom for the teg filter. Okay to make a long story short, I installed it sideways. Is there anything wrong with that? My car seems to run exactly the same.

I don't think you'll have a problem, but I don't have any experience with the teg filters.

No, there is nothing wrong with that. You could put it upside down if you want as long as the connections are on like they're supposed to be. The flow works completely off of fuel pressure. Class is over, you may leave now.

As long as you have the fuel flowing the correct direction, there's no problem. If you put it in backwards, there could be serious problems.

There are two styles for the 5th gens. Some of them are like the 6th gens/tegs and go top to bottom, and the others are the good old top in top out style. My buddy's 94 cx has the top in top out style, and my 95 Si has the top bottom style... Mine is almost at a 45 degree angle.

Think of it like this. You got your fuel pump pushing fuel into the filter. Even if there is an air buble in there, you still have the same pressure because of the force of the pump. So, with the same pressure, where else can the fuel go but out the only other exit on the filter? You got it! OUT THE FILTER!!!! All is well. Simple physics and flow.
