the stock ecu has its a/f settings there for a reason. 'Tricking' it to advance the timing when the air isn't actually any denser wont make it run any better.
ya it can by not working for shiet and you could fry the ecu.....how do you know its not going to mess up ecu. those chips look like they came from a calculator

as far as hp goes you should never go for something that uses the phrase "up to ___hp" the best companies use "at least ___hp" for more accuracy. cause i could sell something on ebay like a titanium radiator stay and say it adds up to 300hp but it will add only .0000000001hp cause of the weight savings
