paintjob question
say there comes a time when i need a mirror or spoiler or moulding painted...would the cost be higher since i have an aftermarket paintjob as opposed to a stock colour? or as long as i have the colour code, anything can be matched?
thanks
thanks
just the color code doesnt ensure the color will match. its always good to keep a sample of the paint so when they mix the paint they can assure they match. cause some places that tint paint dont follow the measurements dead on and sometimes put a little too much of something or too little and when someone else makes you some new paint the old one doesnt match to the new.
A good company will be able to match based on the current color of the car. Such was the case for my Integra when a bus smashed my front end. They made the perfect match and it looked great. It turns out that due to paint condition over time, they had to add a little bit of silver to the OEM mix (Paradise Blue-Green Pearl) to get it to match correctly, but it can be done!
