Default Won't Start???

Hey gang! I'm back! I haven't been in in a long time and when I tried to get in my user name seem to have vanished...sigh, guess I'm sort of a newbie again...dammit.

Anyhoo got a question for the all-wise, all-knowing of H-A...lately when I park my car (1990 Honda Civic HB/4-spd/1.5L) on an incline/decline when I go to restart it it will not start??
It will turn over fine, everything sounds and behaves normally, it just won't start...I'll have to try this 5-10 times and then it will start. I will not do it every time, and will do it when the gas tank is either empty, half full or full.

I can't seem to get a straight answer in the pre-1992 forum.

Glad to be back...any help would be appreciated.

Magik

How do I check the fuel pump? Carb'd? Sorry, I'm not a newbie here but you have to explain new "malfunctions" to me slowly...I am learning things as things break.:dunno:

carb'd as in "carburated" (sp?) but any way don't you have to pump gas into those as you shut it off so that there is fuel in it when you go to start it back up, and that makes them easier to start...dunno though just throwing out a suggestion.

They have electronic chokes for that. I don't know squat about carbs except they suck though.

Thanx frank...I know it's weird the way it only happens on an incline/decline and not every time.

Anyone else any ideas?

M.
