Default CV boot

I ripped my CV boot pretty bad a couple of months ago. What is the longest I can probably drive it without messing up the joint?

Thanks!

I don't know how long, but would recomment having a new boot put in soon. If not, there's always Napa stock axles with lifetime warrently with the core trade-in.

I went about a year on my Lx and now I hear that click-click-click-click whenever I turn or go around 80mph. Get it replaced asap.

werd, replace it now. you can pay a little to have it fixed or a lot if it tears something else up. Just fix it.

~50,000 miles... h:

I drove on my old Corolla until the click was constant...

At that point instead of being $75 to fix, it was like $750, lol...

What would it cost to have a cv boot and joint repaired?

Napa sells a lifetime warranty axle for $60 + core (you give them your busted axle).

Highly recommended.
