Ill Get the graph in here soon, but i dont have time right now...

185 Hp 173 tq at 8.5/9psi. i was shooting for 200 at 11 psi but it keep throwin the map sensor code.
things to come to get me to a 13psi:
MSD BTM
3 bar map sensor
Test pipe / gutted cat
When i want to push 16, i think im getting hondata s200 + boost ;)

thanks for looking

Nice work man! You need a 3 Bar badly. That's the latest mod I did and it made a big difference. My BOV even sounds different with it on.

You NEED a Hondata. You will never go back to a piggy-back system again. ;)

Ill get hondata when i run a lot of boost, but the hack should hold me down for about 12psi, in the spring im getting hondata. there is a ohio guy learning how to chip it :)

Lemme know. I can get'em. ;)

Paull & WCS: Will I need a 3 bar map sensor in the near future?

What should I expect to dyno if I run 11 psi? I'm getting the XS boost controller, and with the flip of a switch, I can swap between low boost (6psi) and high boost(11psi).

John Lee(founder of InlinePro) at Inline, told me he ran 15psi daily in a D16z6 back about 5 years. Said on track days, he went to 18psi. Said the motor lasted about 1 year...and he said he ragged on it.

BTW, Paulll, what did ya build on the D16? Rods and pistons? Anything done to the head? I'm working on that this winter...hopfully sleaved and new pistons/rods

if you are getting it sleaved, you need a bigger turbo, that is it you are going t be running 20psi on it ;)

rods / pistons / polished crank stock head

I plan on getting a *prototype* D series turbo setup from Inline. They don't have any D series manifolds, but plan on having ready by Spring.
John said he would give me a deal, if I bought one of there D series manifold. I get to be one of their un-official product testers.

If you run higher than 11.3 psi you will need a 3BAR. The stock MAP's diaphram can implode over 11.3 and you will throw a code.

The more boost you push, the more fuel you need so be aware of that. If you're running 330 or 440 cc injectors, you will be limited by what they can spray.

The Greddy ProfecB Spec and Spec 2 both do the same thing that the XS does. 2 stages of boost (hi and lo).

SleeperCivicEX runs a greddy kit on his Y8 at 11psi and I'm not sure what his whp is cause he hasn't dynod yet. I'd imagine it's ~200whp.

As for sleeves: my Hondata tuner says that I shouldn't run over 10psi daily on stock sleeves. He said that even at 14psi only for track events will 'put a nail in the coffin' and it will eventually give at the sleeves.

I think that 11psi you should be fine. You won't need a 3bar, you can run stock internals (proven by Sleeper who runs it at the track about every week), just be sure to have the right injectors and EMS. :)

hih

when do you reach full boost by? what RPM?

Anybody know any places with left over Apexi kits?
