I'm possibly upgrading from a 93 civic ex sedan to a 03 blue civic ex in the next week and I want to know the performance and handling difference.

When I went for a test drive in an lx I looked at the automatic shifter and it liiked like a kids toy. The one in the 93 at least you could take a baseball bat to and it would still work. Is the coupe heavier then the sedan 93? Cause I have a 93 sedan. Frekkin think is falling apart. 160,000 miles, won't pass inspection in Dec. It needs new brakes, rotors, master brake cylinder, cracked cv boots and I was quoted 2g's if this is happening then the tranny will be next probally and thats more money.
