Default anyone with an AC autotecniks intake?

i helped my friend put on on his 5th gen ex today. it came with two support brackets, but nowhere anywhere on the intake pipe to put them on. any ideas?

for some reason, alot of intakes come with brackets, but nothing to mount them to on the intake. never understood it. :dunno:

you could put one of the brackets under the hose clamp at the base of the filter element... :dunno:
