My 92 Legend 3.2L ride dumped 2 qts of engine oil out the rad. expansion tank [see "oil in coolant" thread on this site].
Now, just discovered engine has lube oil cooler rite below the water pump. Has anybody experience with these coolers failing and letting oil into the coolant? I am considering pressure testing the cooling system, but dont want to force any water into the engine oil, so may just take the cooler off and inspect and test it. The oil never had indications of water in it, and hopefully i can get a local oil distributor to check a sample of the drained oil pan oil.:stupid:
