Ah, ok. I didn't know you were going to work in internals of the stock IM. I was going to do the same thing, but it would just be easier to use an aftermarket single stage intake with my future setup. But I will agree, the stock IM is GREAT after it's ported.

Often times, there is more than one way to the upgrade the same part and achieve the same result. As long as you research first and learn, you can then choose what work best for your setup. My own friends question my setup because its too "OEM".
For me, performance takes a backseat to reliability.
