Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America (MMMA)
MMMA is an auto assembly facility that started operations as a joint venture between Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) of Japan and the Chrylser Corporation. Diamond-Star Motors, as it was originally named, began production of the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Plymouth Laser on xx/xx/ 1988. Over the years since, the product line included models such as the Eagle Talon, the Eagle Summit, the Mitsubishi Mirage, and the Dodge Avenger. Today's models include the Eclipse, the Eclipse Spyder (convertible) the Mitsubishi Galant, the Dodge Stratus, and the Chrysler Sebring. Today, roughly 2900 union members are employed at MMMA.
