not to mention the government probably has gained information about you that has previously been private and you wouldn't even know about it, would you?
so if we got rid of the patriot act, would you rather have the terrorist posing as david cole sneak thru? do you have another viable solution to stop terrorist? I'll be really suprised if you can come up with a viable solution. Even Senator Ted Kennedy has been subjected to the Patriot Act. Of course he pulled the "do you know who I am!" routine, and was able to resolve it quickly.
the patriot act is necessary. if you don't have anything to hide you don't have to worry. if your sketchy and do have something to hide I hope they catch you.
