I have p/s removed (not just the belt) and the Padawan kit installed.
Ok - when I first got it - I thought - OMFG this is a really big difference!!You get used to it very quickly though and in my opinion improves feel by a large margin. you really can feel the tires a lot better and the overly light feeling of the steering at speed disappears.
I got to drive a Proformance race car this summer for a 2-day school. This is a tube frame race car with manual steering. I thought the steering was clunky and not very precise in that instance. The Type R is heaven in comparison.
I think if you track your car a lot it is a nice mod.
The downside of course is increased steering effort - esp parallel parking. My Type R is a "sunday" car - so that aspect doesn't bother me.
