Back to topic, the more viewpoints we have on what occured, the better. Obviously not all of them are valid, and need to be weighed. But I think to simply dismiss an account off the cuff. If something of this magnitude happened while I was working at a corp/government, I'd voice my opinion and get the hell out. Don't think you can fault the report simply because he doesn't work there anymore.
