Default Linear Springs: Ground Controls+Konis

Well, I'm crushed that the H&R Sports springs that I've always wanted are progressive rate springs!!! Most of you guys know how a progressive rate spring isn't too great for Auto-X and other track events...

Anyways, a good friend of mine recommended Ground Control coilovers or their regular made custom springs. Has anyone had experience using Ground Control coilovers on the track? Are they good? If I were to get them, they would be the ones that are specifically made to snap onto the Koni Yellow perch grooves.

Does anyone know how exactly they attach to the Konis? Do they attach to the center perch? Also, what is the best method to get the ride height I want? Should I measure from the fender lip to the flat ground? (makes sense to me )

Anyways, my car weighs 3000lbs, and I want it to have a somewhat comfortable ride, but still do decent for Auto-X (power on oversteer is possible?). For the street I would use adjustable rear sway endlinks to dial in understeer for safe, predictable street driving (like if my mom were to borrow the car).

Would 500R/450F be a good choice? Does anyone have any good resources that can point me in the right direction? I plan on calling Ground Control soon...

BTW, this seems to confuse me and go against all the advice I've received so far http://

http://www.nt...dcontrol.shtml
