it wasn't a plane unless i missed something. it was ch-47 chinook twin rotor helicopter. if anyone here has ever ridden in one they know the thing is a friggin deathtrap. my condolances to the families but i's not really a surpise that one of these things crashed. they fill up on oil more often than they refuel these things.
I concur, its sad that alot of these military planes need to be replaced, and there is more maintanence time then actual flight time.
