actually the fittings tend to loosen over time, and the bushings can wear out.

the only way to solve the problem is to replace them
and they are a part of your steering

but the alignment shop should never have aligned your car with out first replacing them--basically your alignment will be out in a few days

the easiest way to illustrate this is, jack your front end up so that the wheels are off the ground, put both your hands on one of your tires and shake it back and forth, you should feel the looseness

the short of it is, get it fixed, because it will get worse and it will wear out your new tires
