How To: Customize Radio "Welcome" Message

I just found out today that you can customize what your radio displays when you turn your car on.

1-Make sure the audio system is off
2-Push and hold the TUNE knob, then push the power/volume knob on the audio control panel. You will see the first letter blinking.

This is probably nothing new to some of you but I found it pretty interesting.

Post and let us see what you come up with!

make sure to have your key in the ignition and to the on (II) position but without the engine running. :) It's a pretty cool feature- I had mine say "engage" for quite a while because i'm just that nerdy.

yeah, it's in the owners manual. You can display 16 characters

Mine currently displays "NO FAT CHICKS"

At first it read:

AUTOBOTS ROLLOUT

But then I changed it to slightly more clever:

> MEETS THE EYE

Yeah, I'm a geek. :oh:

I have a 07 EX sedan w/o navi (b type radio). When I turn my key over it doesn't say "welcome" or anything. When I try to set the text nothing happens. Whats the deal.. the manual says nothing about that?

EDIT: I found out its only for the coupe but the manual doesn't say that:mad:

I have an '07 Si sedan and I can program mine. :dunno: Currently it says:

NURSING ROCKS!

(for my wife) :oh:

Can this be done to a coupe with navigation? I can't figure out how on mine.
