I have an intake and exhaust was thinking about a i-vetc controller. But was wondering if anyone has any other thoughts on some quick mods?

Take out your back seats and spare tire; a banner style decal across the windshield that says "HONDA" or your name will reduce your drag coefficient, you'll see a better gain if it says "type-r" though
Seriously though, have you concidered a header? comptech has a shorty that keeps your cat in.

how is the comptech header? I'm looking around and I think I want to hang onto the cat. I've decided that if I change the exhaust, i'm going to go with the tanabe grand medallion touring.

t-town, hondata also offers a heatshield gasket that can increase your power a little bit. I've been reading about the reflash, and it's pretty ridiculous. hard to believe that you can get horsepower jumps as high as the dyno charts seem to suggest just by changing the ECU.
it's gotta be hard on your engine, though...

by it's hard to believe, I think I mean I'm dubious of changing the way the ECU functions. the power gains look great, but how much shorter is my engine's life going to be?
If the Hondata reflash doesn't significantly shorten your engine's life, i guess it's worth the $595.
