If you're talking about me..forget it. I'm 5'9" and have been driving probably longer than you've been out of diapers.
NOBODY, I repeat, nobody can see the hood of the '06 Civic from behind the wheel. It has nothing to do with height. It's the design of the car.

well if u damn near ripped the front bumper off from hitting the curb, while pulling into an ANGLED spot i dont care how long youve been driving, thats just wreckless driving, they cant make everything idiot proof, and like i said before im sure honda never meant the new civic to be parked in an angled spot but yet i see a dozen everyday parked without any problems
maybe you should buy the new lexus so it can park for you, or buy a camera or install sensors so you can tell :hsdunno:

silvic is just an under-educated post whore from the basement whose father abused him as a child forcing him to release his pent up rage on forums while he is too flaccid to jerk off to porn :chuckles:

Hey thanks for the pic, applesauseSi.
"well if u damn near ripped the front bumper off from hitting the curb.."
Never said that. I said it cracked from hitting the curb on one side.
It's obvious that Silvic00 is clueless.

People piss me off! :)
giraffes! I love 'em!
.....I went from an 1988 S-10 chevy blazer 4X4 to an 06 civic si. the only other vehicle I have driven that had little or no visible hood was a toyota spaceship... err, I mean, minivan. a roomate of mine owned it and it was impossible to tell where the front end stopped.
Although I never have hit a curb, I will say it took me a while to get used to the front end of my civic. Also, I don't see how the car WASN'T designed to park in an angled spot. that statement needs some explaining. And, dozens? where do you live that you see a dozen brand-new civics parked in angled spots? go test drive a new honda before you get a ...hoof... too far down your throat.

Well I washed my car last night and I too noticed a crack in the bottom of my front bumper. (near the fog light knock out). I have no idea how it got ther and all I can think of is possibly a snow or ice bank at work where they plowed the parking lot.
When the weather gets warmer I'll try and line the cracked pieces up and then touch up with paint. Luckily is down low so it's not that noticeable.
So anyway, the point is before you laugh at somebodys misfortune, remember it could easily happen to you.
