I'm not very well versed on leases. But the monthly is less than what I pay for my '10 fit.
How many miles per year can you put on? That's what would keep me from leasing. It would always be in the back of my mind.

that and what is considered normal usage... the dealership usually fucks you in the ass with costs related to returning the car after the lease period. charging for every scratch, tire thread wear and shit like that. Also be carefull with the maintenance plan... some dealerships require you to do the schedule maintenance and they can fun you a load of cash.

it's my D in a B
I checked out leasing a new legacy and they advertised $199/mo, but after going in and running the numbers (and doing pretty much everything besides signing the papers), it came out to something like $340. I don't understand leases, and I think advertised lease rates are a bait-n-switch sorta thing.

I would agree. The biggest problem is the mileage and the costs at the end of the term. Sure, your monthly costs are less, but you end up paying at the beginning and end.

I'd never go for a lease, too many unexpected costs.
I always buy used cars (2-3 years), and you can't go wrong with hondas... well japanese-manufactured hondas.
