    Went out for a...

Well, according to Facebook, I went to Texas, and then Mexico (coworker pranked me).

So here's what I rode back

2007 Ducati 1098 with 7000 miles. Full 70mm Termi exhaust, Ohlins rear, Ohlins fork internals, Ohlins damper, upgraded ECU, air filter, race seat, carbon accents, SpeedyMoto clutch cover, and Evo clutch slave. Got it from a friend, who got it from a guy who worked at Ducati. Professionally tuned by AMA pro racer Larry Pegram. This thing is full out track. Looking forward to doing a few days this summer

Niiiiice. I love those 1098s -- they look very mean. I wanted a Monster S2R1000 so bad when I was riding... but I decided it was too unsafe for me.

Mind if I ask how much you got it for? Buying used bikes is great -- they depreciate pretty rapidly in the first couple of years, and people tend to baby them and not put much mileage on them.

I originally wanted a new Triumph Daytona 675R, but I could'nt pass this deal up.I got it for 10-5, right on target with value, not including all the extras. It also has the original parts, minus the exhaust. This thing was professionally ridden and maintained since day 1 - also babied and garage kept. I love that I know the guy who owned it,plus the history of it. This thing is a straight up track monster.
