Could you do it?
Could you go a day or two or even a week without your cell phone? I mean not talking to anyone on it even if work calls you? And just go to work or out with friends and act all casual about it like nothing ever happened? I know I could, how long would you last? And that would also mean all social media as well (facebook, tumblr etc)

flipped cracka: the first time i remember touching any was way before that. i was probably 10 or so and my dad, his girlfriend (denise), and i were asleep on our couch (atleast i was pretending to be asleep) and i slipped my hand up her shirt. they were pretty small though.

Come in My Hole
I could do it, no problem. I work 5 days a week so it doesn't matter to me. and my parents live close to my house just in case something happens

BOOM goes the dynamite!
I never talk on the phone anyway. this past month, I've used exactly 19 minutes. so yes, I could do it.

<- click me, i'm fun.

un-Touch'd krew
Most I use my phone for is text and web, it would be easy for me to go a week or more...my boss might not like it though

BAZINGA!
Without a doubt. I could probably go a couple weeks. I remember reading that Vince Vaughn does not have a cell phone and if a studio wants him bad enough they will wait til he gets home to answer his answering machine.

Checking it twice
No problem, I don't use it enough now. I've got more money tied up in unused minutes than I can talk for. Most of my conversations are less than a minute even on my landline.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ...."WOW! What a ride!!!!!"

I know I could do it. I would find it annoying after about a week though. The only time work contacts me are when coworkers want shift coverage. I like all the benefits of have a smartphone but don't NEED them. Drunk post, sorry for grammar.

Cell phone yes...but like others, work wouldn't like that very much.

The boss is out of town for two weeks, so I'm solely responsible for a medical practice at the moment. Already had 1 emergency that would have been blown up if I wasn't reachable.
But if it weren't for that, yes. I'd ditch the phone for a week easily.

I rarely talk on the phone, just use it for text and web. And it happens on a fairly regular basis that I won't even send/receive a text in a day. So barring some sort of emergency, it would be pretty easy for me to ditch the phone for a day or two and rely on e-mail and the work landline to survive.

I really want to ditch the phone. Gets more and more tempting each time I have to pay the bill.
