    What is the hotness in computer monitors?

    I think I might upgrade my 22" to a 24". I am not sure what all these TS vs. ISP thing is...10:9 vs 16:10?

    It will be used for gaming (not hardcore), watching Netflix, but mostly for regular computer use (Office, Photoshop).

    What would you do for $200-$250? Maybe $300 for this 27" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...l-_-24-001-392 .

    x1080 on a 27" monitor...is that ok?

    IPS are some of the best monitor displays. Most accurate to color scales and GREAT viewing angles.

    Many drawbacks with having a IPS panel? I dont really care about viewing angles since its only me right in front of the monitor. But if there are no drawbacks...
