I hoping! A lot of people love it. I was about 6 months too late to get a granite top one. About 40% done assembling it. More pics to come.

Some depots even take a 20% Harbor Freight coupon. Not sure about a purchase like this, but I've done it.

Also, Brian, if you're going be to doing some regular cutting, I highly suggest setting up a dust collection system.

My xpost that I put on a woodworking forum
Welp...walked into Home Depot, by accident I found a manager and said I would like to purchase the R4512 and as we were walking towards it I flashed hime my printed Harbor Freight coupon and he said, "Yeah, I can take that." He then proceeded to talk about the granite top version and I had missed them by 3 months. While we were loading it onto the dolly, another worker came along and proceeded to talk about the granite top version. Oh well...apparently a LOT were shipped cracked and Ridgid got sick of replacing them and switched to the cast iron.
Got up to the register and the cashier was a week old...he said, Oh I can't take this. It can't be a print out. I said...call Nick (first guy I talked to), and the cashier called another manager who said, we don't take it. I then proceeded again to say talk to Nick. He did, and voila...20% off!
Thanks for all the help!!! I started to put it together tonight before it got dark and got the stand and casters attached to the top. Trying to flip it without assistance was quite a biotch though. Can't wait to finish putting it together and run some tests!

This!!!
You're going to have saw dust all over the place if you don't.
Buy a cheap(not too cheap) shop/Ridgid vac to suck in the saw dust

Whoa wait...you work at Home Depot??!!?? You have PM
Already have a shop vac, I just need to get an adapter to attach to the 4" dust chute at the bottom of the saw. I got this saw at the El Cajon HD. I even contemplated the idea of getting a job there just for employee discounts to get my bigger tool purchases

I'm talking real dust collection. the dust collector at harbor freight gets good reviews, some people saying it's just as good as ones that are twice as much. I got one from Rockler, but need to set up some better ducting.
shop vacs are good for big chips, but the fine dust is what you need to worry about.

Right now my "shop" is my alley. So my table saw would be moved out to the alley and used back there, so any dust that the shop vac doesn't grab would end up on the ground and be vacuumed later. Once we get a real place though, I want to run a full dust excavation system complete with the "cyclone" dust collector.
What system do you have? I am headed to Rockler tomorrow (have a 25% coupon for tomorrow only). Worth a shot looking at it!

I have the Dust Right (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=30676) with the expandable hose, although the one I have is the previous model to this one.I've been looking at installing fixed ducting, but I mainly just use the lathe so it's easy to move the hose when I need to. But if I were to do it again, I would have gotten the one from harbor freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/2-hp-in...tor-97869.html) based on all the reviews I've seen.
When you do get one, look at making a thien separator for it. (http://www.cgallery.com/jpthien/cy.htm) The forums on that site have more/better designs (the top hat is the way to go these days).
