Nope. Next console up is Nintendo's Wii U.

Drew, is it worth considering buying a PS3 this late in the game. It would mostly be for dvd / blu ray...and maybe some light gaming.

And is there a PS3 faq I am not up to date with this whole hard drive console thing :uhhok:

PS3 for $200, yes. Absolutely. The vast majority of the game library is $20 to $30 (new releases command $60). The system was so future forward in 2006 that it's still completely relevant 5 years later.

The starter HDD size is 160gb. HDD upgrades are easy; the PS3 will accept and format any SATA 2.5in HDD.

correction, it'll accept any hdd that is the right size. it has to be a certain thickness. I have a 750GB in mine, which is plenty since i stream most of my stuff from my media server anyway.

also, at $200, i say it's worth it too.

Is $200 still the going price or BF price?

What goes into the HDD...do you download them now?

HDD is used for:
- DLC or downloadable content. This includes demo or purchased games from the Playstation Network (PSN).
- Media you'd like to house on the PS3. (movies, mp3s, pictures)
- Partial game installs to help with load times.

It's really hard to fill a HDD.
