Heh, so gay honda calls back and says "Well what we are going to do is pay for a car rental from triangle rent-a-car." Which basically means instead of getting a decent loaner, we are gonna have a crappy ass rental. My mom is gonna what kind of car they give her, and if its a piece shes just gonna say forget it.

just put up with the loaner car and be done with it.
Loaner car does not always mean free limo service for the next month. It's a loner.
No need to be snotty and stuck up about it.

7 to 10 days for a starter is ridiculous. That Honda engine should take a mouse on a excersize wheel to turn over. Hm. The starter on the stratus has been changed twice. Neither took more than a few hours (private shop). Then again, we don't get a loaner from the private shop. The second time only labor was charged, because the new starter has a lifetime warranty. These are the perks of having a car off-warranty and able to go to a good mechanic, not some guy that's cut down to the wire on time just to make ends meat.
