I forgot, on that texture, I have made some changes on mine.
The glass is gay, so I fixed that. And the lava and water don't move so you have to go to the link below and get the patcher and then run it from the minecraft bin folder after you have the new texture loaded.

Hahaha, the flaming fence is the secret entrance to my studio apartment.

I found out that you can kill the animals with the iron and flint combo by setting them on fire. Sometimes they drop weird shit. I once got a piece of leather from a chicken.

The underground stuff is still there, but the tiny apartment on top is gone.

Here is my house in my single player world...finally found iron so that is good

Got some gold...what's the purpose of gold...it sucks with tools, sucks with armor...

Front of the house. The tower has a spiral 1x1 (wish I could do .5x.5) staircase and the top overlooks everything. Kind of a pain getting all the way up there but oh well.

Back side of house. The third level is my floating crops around the house. Back needs some cleaning up to make it look all purdy. In the distance you can see the faint tree...that is my massive mountain of goodies! Found a HUGE coal vein, some good iron, and I am on the verge of finding a skeleton spawner...infinite arrows!

The gold is just for decoration. You can make a gold block using 4 gold bricks. That's just about it.

gold is only good for bling, just like real life. if you put three stone blocks side by side in the crafting area it will make a .5 step.

Yes. Trees usually give plants when you knock down most of the branches. Plant those plants near a water source and they will grow in a couple of nights.
