Default Ordered me some new brake parts

Been needing to do the brakes on my car for a bit now. I just ordered EBC Redstuff pads, EBC slotted rotors and Techna-fit stainless lines. I'm also going to get some kind of decent fluid (anyone have a particular kind they like? I've had good results w/ Valvoline Synpower but open to suggestions) and want to paint the calipers silver just so they don't look corroded through my wheels.

After a bunch of shopping around for prices the best I could do was a hair over $700 for parts. I miss cheap ass Integra and Miata brake parts. Oh well.

I like their black rotors...just wished they stayed black. h:

The slots do at least.

I've been using Ate Super Blue...just because that's what came with the package I bought a while back.

Yeah I ordered the black rotors. I know it'll wear off on the actual rotor surface but that's fine by me. h:

I also had the Ate rotors on my Miata, the ones with the slots shaped like an atom. I liked those a lot but they don't have them for the MS6.

Yeah those are the ones I have. I'd have figured by now we would have learned how to make iron black before it's cast into parts, and not just coat the outside. o:

EBC pads for the fail. In all honesty, I've never tried the redstuff, but yellowstuff and greenstuff both glaze over when pushed. We've barely made it home alive from track days with that stuff. :ugh:

Edit: valvoline fluid is good stuff though, and cheap for what you get.

The RedStuff are by far the most popular option for the MS6. The only other pad that anyone seemed to get excited about for their MS6 was Carbotech Bobcats but those are a good bit pricier. One thing everyone loves about the RedStuff is the stock front pads are godawful dusty, and the RedStuff are way less dusty while also performing better. But if they end up sucking I will of course admit it.

How are the Hawk pads on dusting? I'm thinking about upgrading from stock during my next brake job...probably coming up soon. Gotta check the pads.

I used RBF600 Motul fluid in the Evo. I used Synpower in my first teg and 240sx. I noticed for some reason that fluid attracted dirt WAY more than any other fluid I've used. I tried Castrol GTX brake fluid and it stays clear/clean MUCH longer.
