Both are "common round" weapons so either would be a good pick up, if I were gearing for a SHTF in mind I would go AK because they are reliable as fuck the downfall is the rounds may not be as easy to pick up on the run if it were a civil action that caused the event.
Either way you really can't go wrong, but in light of recent laws in your state make sure you can get a 7 round mag for whatever you choose :rofl:
