just played it... I'm guessing the sounds and shit didn't burn right because the main heavy duty guns are pretty quiet. Otherwise... game doesn't really live up to its hype. Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Going to buy live and start playing because I'm sure that kicks ass. But for campaign, it is pretty much exactly like 1 and 2. Go in a straight line, kill people you see, then keep moving straight and repeat

from what I understand, it's the online play that is supposed to rock socks. The campaign mode has always been basically cookie cuttered for 1,2,3

I got mine for 5.99 at Target on clearance. I gave it away. It only works when your xbox is standing up. I was over my friends house and his cat darted by and snagged my play and charge cable, knocked my xbox over and ruined my need for speed CD. After that i keep the thing on it's back.
