Default d16z6 head on d16y7 block

I have a 98 hatch dx with stock d16y7 motor. I am lucky enough to have a d16z6 head laying here. Will it work with the d16y7? What wil I need and how difficult will the swap be. I am also ordering a JR supercharger to couple with the head. Any problems with this??? thanks to all who can help!

You'll have to take out the oil squirter on the block, use whatever D series headgasket you want. But with the JRSC, the only problem you're going to have is the length of the belt. not sure if the y7 block is the same height as the z6, so you may have to goof around with the length/tensioner. And I can't tell you for sure which timing belt you'll need, but if your's doesn't work, I'm fairly sure the HX one will...

lmao, certified mechanic? funny guy.

Oil Squirter??? I am lost on that one. Can you explain that to me?? I have done a few d16z6 swaps into crxs but never messed with the newer shit. I figure it can't be too hard. I hope the blocks are identical in size so everything will work well with the belt and all.
