I am a newbie w/ an LS
Hello? i just got an integra LS. So I put CAI, and went to track, run like ten times and my best time was 16.12 Is this good for a stock LS(pretty much stock)? My friend's Subaru 2.5RS did 15.22
I was kinda disappointed for my lauch. My car jumps like crazy when I launch. Maybe i am launching wrong. Also my 3rd gear is really long, it seems like I beat everyone off the line but on third I get eaten.
LOt of people told me to get a V-tec head, is it a good move to inivest? PLease help???

LS/VTEC
I did some research on building LS/vtec. And it seems like getting a B16 head is the best way to go. and it's cheaper. When the v-tec kicks in I will have some high end.
Going turbo is lil more money and risky. Looking for a B16 vtec head??>>

Its not as easy as just plopping a vtec head on and your done. There is a lot of work involved. To learn more check out this link.

Low 16's are pretty standard for a stock LS. What were your 60 foot times-- that's generally the best way to tell how your launch is. (Good 60' for LS: 2.0-2.1 I believe).
You will hear massive horror stories about converting the LS to Vtec, and since you have to build the bottom end, change the head, and get some massive fuel management to tune your "new" engine, it requires a lot of work and know-how and ends up in a blown engine if you don't know what you're doing.
