Eg6 swap question?
Sup,
I have a 93 cx and i am planning on swapping very soon. I was planning on getting a b16b but i dont want to wait so i am going to get a b16 proly. i found a great deal but i have a question about it and i want some opinions. i want to do the swap myself also because thats the whole point of being into cars learning and getting better but, the deal i found was for 2500$ i get a b16 the cable version motor which i cant use but there changing the manifold to a skunk 2 and other things. The swap will come with new mounts from Honda and axles with a lifetime warranty also, 4-2-1 dc sport headers and a aem intake and, act clutch but with an LS tranny. i can get the b16 tranny but they keep telling me the ls is better but i aint buying it really and i am a DSM guy i havent read enough about honda swapping i am so into the JDM style that i totally forget about the drivetrain

thats a really bad price. you can buy that setup for ~$1800. the LS tranny will make ur sir-1 motor a dog.

Actually that price is great cause if you think about it a b16a1 swap will run me 1800 plus shipping so 2100$. i am getting a skunk 2 manifold,act clutch,dc headers and, aem intake. i just thought that the LS tranny would make the motor fall out of vtec? thats my major question how will they work together or would a b16 just work bettter? thanx alot peace.
