obdII and obdI distibutors

will the distributor on my sohc 1.6 vtec motor work on a b-series dohc motor??

I thought I heard that you could modify the SOHC distrib. to fit on the DOHC. I think it's rigging, but that's what I thought I heard. :dunno:
