Default BAH! Just need to vent.

Never change your brake pads at 9pm on a Friday night when you have to be someplace 8am the next morning.

I friggin snapped the caliper bolt right in half. So I couldn't drive the car to get it fixed and everything was closed. Finally found a bolt extractor but didn't have a drill bit to start the hole.

Called up a friend at the last minute to use his bits and vice. What should have taken 15 minutes turned into a 3 hour ordeal. BAH! BAH! BAH!

It's being held in right now by a generic bolt which I hopes holds up.

rule of thumb: don't even touch your car if you need it any time soon... I lost a job learning that one

"it's always something" is my philosophy because it's always true when it comes to cars.

Heck, Wed night I dropped a fitting adaptor behind my motor and because it's brass, it's not magnetic. I couldn't find it to save my life and couldn't drive without it cause it feeds oil to my turbo. I had to get my wife to drive me to work Thurs and I went to get a new fitting on the way home.

What's worse is that I bought 2 fittings and neither one was right. I had to go Fri. morning and get the right one and was 1.5 hours late for work. Cause of a stupid $.50 fitting.

I feel ya man.

I think this falls under "Murphy's Law" of which I'm very familiar.

To make you feel better, the first time I did my suspension, the bolt snapped off in the rear bushing, Honda was out of them, and no one had polly ones in stock. Took two days to get my car back on the road.

haha yea tell me about it, we went to put lowering springon my buddys car and on the left rear side of his car we stripped the head on the bolt on the spindel and snapped the head off the one where the shock mounts. and he had to move the next day. than we also did an auto to 5spd swap, and that was a bitch too and took us all weekend, it took longer than it takes me to do a swap w/ another person helping.

Well sort of got it fixed last night and today. I realized that no one in Lancaster has a 8mmx1.0 bolt in 25mm size. Everyone has 8x1.25 or 8x1.00 in 15mm or 35mm. BASTARDS!

So I had to order 4 of them from Honda. Cause of course they don't stock those.

At least my torn driver's side motor mount has been fixed which occurred after Honda Fest. Which has shown why my competitors have been catching up to me time wise.

If something could go wrong with with a car it probably will.
